What is Project Wing?
At Project Wing we’re building delivery drones, and working toward the day when these aircraft can deliver everything from consumer goods to emergency medicine – a new commerce system that opens up universal access to the sky.
The Project Wing team is testing automated flight and delivery in rural California.
How does Project Wing work?
Our aircraft can fly preplanned routes on demand using sensors and software to detect and avoid one another in real time. We've developed an architecture with redundant motors, batteries and even navigation systems with intelligent controls so backup systems can help keep aircraft safely in flight. We’re also working on an unmanned traffic management platform so that hobbyists and commercial operators alike can safely navigate the airspace.
